Hot Deep Tissue Massage
Hot deep tissue is a blend of hot stone and therapeutic deep tissue treatments taking the best out of hot stone techniques. Hot stones are used to warm up and relax the target area which prepares the tissue for deeper work – trigger point release, compress and stretch, or others. It is a deeply relaxing and comforting treatment.
Remedial Sports Massage
Sports massage uses deep tissue techniques, soft tissue release, muscle energy techniques, trigger point therapy, facilitated stretching, cupping and dry needling therapy for body’s maintenance. It is suitable for both active and sedentary life-styles. It is a goal oriented treatment, i.e. release shoulder and neck tension or hip and legs, wry neck treatment, tennis elbow or sciatica pain relieve.
Post-work out massage aims at reducing DOMS - delayed muscle onset soreness which contributes to tightness and pain sensation. The treatment stimulates body’s natural recovery process by draining waste products (I.e. lactic acid) from the muscle activity and improving blood flow. Gentle traction, kneading, stretching and myofascial techniques used to relieve tightness and soreness, encourage relaxation and boost energy for the next workout.
Therapeutic massage is excellent for chronic pain management, injury prevention, general relaxation or targeting specific area of tension, aiding with sleep problems and stress. Treatment includes myofascial release, connective tissue release, soft tissue release and gentle assisted stretching with passive joint mobilisation.
Respiratory & Stomach massage
Respiratory & Stomach treatment is a combination of breathing awareness and physical therapy to ease the tension around the rib cage, diaphragm, neck, and chest and stomach. This treatment aims to improve respiratory function, which in turn is beneficial to the the whole body. The treatment is very good for relieving chest tightness, assisting recovering from long COVID, as well as, stimulating digestive system and release tight abdominal muscles.Treatment duration - 90min.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
A specialised technique that stimulates the lymphatic vessels to remove waste products and lactic acid build-up. Akin to a detox from the inside out, the benefits are widespread, from promoting healing of ligaments and muscles to improving skin conditions and strengthening the immune system.
